What happened to the roller coaster on the top of the straitphere…i just came back from vegas and the other three rides r still there but i could not get an answer on why the coaster is no longer up there
Gone … too many problems with it.One time it came off the track while I was in line to go on it. Needless to say … I never did go on it and would never after that.

Yes, their rollercoaster (it was called the High Roller) which sat upon the top of the Stratosphere Tower was removed in 2005. They only removed that coaster because it took up a lot of room on the tower, and low guest satisfaction numbers. In place of where the High Roller used to be, they put up a few flat rides that were more thrilling in its kind. You can find pictures and info on the High Roller here: http://rcdb.com/id141.htm
The rides that replaced High Roller as of follows:
X-Scream – A giant teeter-totter that propels you 27 feet over the edge of the Tower, 866 feet above the ground.
Insanity, the Ride – A massive mechanical arm extends 64 feet over the edge of the Tower and spins you at a force of 3 Gs for a truly mind-bending experience.
